Subject Verb Agreetment

  1. SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE
     Digunakan untuk menyatakan habitual action atau          rutinitas dan fakta-fakta umum.
         RUMUS :
       ( + )  S + V1 (s/es)
       ( - )   S + do/does + not + V1
       ( ? )  Do/does + S + V1
      Example :
       ( + )  I go to school today
       ( - )   He does not go to school
       ( ? )  Does he go to school today ?

   2. SIMPLE PAST TENSE
       Digunakan untuk menyatakan kalimat yang terjadi          dimasa lampau.
          RUMUS :
         ( + ) S + V2 (d/ed)
         ( - )  S + did + not + V1
         ( ? ) Did + S +V1
        Example :
         ( + )  They went to campus by motorcycle
         ( - )   They did not go to campus by motorcycle
         ( ? )  did they go to campus by motorcycle ?
 
   3. PAST/PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
        Digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang sedang         berlangsung.
            RUMUS :
           ( + ) S + be + V ing
           ( - )  S + be + not + V ing
           ( ? ) be + S + V ing
          Example :
           ( + ) They are going to cinema by car (Pr. Count)
           ( - )  He was going to party by car   (Past.Count)
           ( ? ) were you reading this book ? (Past.Count)

    4. SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE
         Digunakan untuk mengekspresikan kejadian yang            belum terjadi, masih direncanakan, atau kejadian              dimasa akan datang.
       RUMUS :
        ( + )  S + will + V1
        ( - )  S + will + not + V1
        ( ? )  will + S + V1
       Example :
        ( + ) I will come to  your birthday party
        ( - )  I will not come to your birthday party
        ( ? ) will he come to your birthday party ?

   5. PRESENT PERFECT TENSE
        Digunakan untuk menyatakan kejadian yang sudah         terjadi dan hasilnya masih terasa/terlihat.
       RUMUS :
        ( + ) S + has/have V3
        ( - )  S + has/have + not + V3
        ( ? ) has/have + s + V3
       Example :
        ( + ) She has written a stamp collection her
        ( - )  She has not written a stamp collection her
        ( ? ) has she written a stamp collection her ?
